Paul Sagaser graduated from NDSU with a degree in Geology right at the beginning of the Bakken Oil Boom. The Bakken formation was the most recent significant oil and gas discovery, and Paul went right to work finding oil and gas for the oil companies. Traveling around Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Canada gave him the perfect opportunity to find those automotive gems. Paul would bring them home to his farm south of Epping, N.D. and line them up waiting for their turn to be polished into a restored diamond. Paul loved all vehicles and hated to see them go to the crush. Paul especially favored MOPAR. Those Cudas, Chargers, D100 Pickups, and 1930’s cars, but that was not the only ones, he has Chevrolet, Ford, and even Buicks. Paul passed away in a motorcycle accident. His family struggled with what to do with Paul’s “Field of Dreams” as he called it. The collecting was a family affair and treasured by the entire family. But after many discussions, Holly and the boys, have decided to sell the collection. The family have kept some treasured cars restored together and some future projects, but the remainder of the cars and parts will be sold. VanDerBrink Auctions will sell the collection in 1 big day! The auction will be onsite with online bidding. The collection has everything from Restored drivers to cars and pickups for restore, project, rod, and parts. You won’t want to miss it. So, plan now to venture to the Bakken and discover your automotive gem at the Sagaser Collection auction.
