VanDerBrink Auctions is pleased to bring you the Jim Finney Rare Ford Model T Cars & Parts Collection. Jim Finney loved history. The Ford Model T was such a revolution and changed the lives of the everyday citizen. Jim started collecting from age 9 and bought his first Ford Model T. Jim had been accumulating and collecting cars and parts since. Jim’s Grampa and Dad drove truck for area Oil Companies and Jim drove for DX Diamond. Jim’s route was traveling the Midwest and through lots of windshield time, allowed him to find his Model T’s. Jim heard about a man in Indiana with a rare collection and bought all his rare and early Model T Parts. Jim filled buildings around the area and eventually moved his collection and built a building. Jim was also a dealer for reproduction Ford Model T Parts and extremely active in the hobby. Jim was a fixture at area shows and especially the yearly Hershey Swap Meet. Jim’s goal was to collect one of every make of Model T from 1909-1914 and favored Town Cars. The collection was nearly complete, and Jim even bought the 1915 Ford Model T Coupelet right before he passed. Jim passed away and the family will sell the entirety of his rare collection of cars, including 6 RARE Ford Model T Town Cars, 1909-15 Parts, Buggies, Collectibles, and more!
